Abstract
Biliary tract surgery represents a constant challenge for surgeons of all experience levels. The advent of laparoscopy and robotics has added new complexities to an already inherently demanding field. Defining "error" in this context is delicate, given the anatomical variability that characterizes each patient. This article arises from a reflection on the difficulties inherent in these procedures and the introspective analysis that every surgeon performs at the end of an intervention.
