Abstract
We present the case of a 61-year-old male patient with a history of prostatic hyperplasia and urethral stenosis, who presented to the emergency department for increased left scrotal volume and ulcerative lesion at the base of the penis. He was diagnosed with Fournier's gangrene and underwent emergency surgical debridement, leaving him with a skin defect from the base to the shaft of the penis. After antibiotic management and periodic surgical cleanings, the infectious process was controlled. For the management of the resulting skin defect, coverage was performed with bilateral inguinal fasciocutaneous flaps based on the external pudendal artery and accessory irrigation of the superficial circumflex iliac artery. The patient evolved satisfactorily, leaving in good general condition and the flaps well faced.
